Jeromes Dream was a highly influential band out of Connecticut that played a truly chaotic form of screamo. Due to their unique vocal recording methods, they are one of those bands that people either love or hate. Early in their life, Jeromes Dream recorded their vocals by laying a mic on the floor, and then screaming at the top of their lungs from across the room. During live sets, they didnt even bother using a mic, they just screamed at the top of their lungs. After a while though, the vocalist started coughing up blood and having all-around fucked up vocal chords, so they started recording their vocals through something that sounds like someone is talking through a megaphone. Either way, this band has some of the sickest riffs on the planet and were an extremely passionate band. Everyone who considers themselves of fan of screamo or hardcore and hasn't listened to JD, should take sometime to listen to this.
